Much pain in the ass is had with the chopping and peeling
Any and all annoyance of prep is completely worth the end game:
You could pair this with ice cream, or whipped cream. But honestly, it didn’t need anything else.
Super cheap and you can scrape the bottom of your cabinet on this one. For about two bucks (as I have a tiny and meek basil plant, but a plant all the same!) I made my own tasty version of Spaghetti-O’s.
Prune some Basil, cut leaves into strips.

Warm on the stove one can Campbell’s Tomato Soup w/fresh cracked pepper added
Grab some twirly pasta (or one of your own choosing)
Boil those twirly Q’s!
Drain pasta and fold with tomato sauce and cut strips of basil. Add a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese and a little bit more basil on top.

Presto, super quick & beyond easy Better Than Spaghetti-O’s. Fresher and tastier than the original, plus you made it at home with less than a handful of ingredients and time!
